Yes we went. Waited out the rain and then got in the water. Water was cold from the rain at first then got a lil better. Shrimp were very scarce and ran small. Got about 2 dozen larges in 2 1/2 hours. Tons of very small shrimp out. But the highlight of the night was getting chased by about a 3ft hammerhead at the edge if the channel. The tide never dropped real good due to the south wind. And it turned to come back in and fast. Also it was muddy in spots due to the mullet all over. So pretty much a bust. Not the best of nights by far.

Can't say my night was as exciting Skremen. Kinda glad it wasn't :-) I went out at 10:30 stayed until 12:00 and saw only small ones (2-3 inches) and very few at that. In fact I think I saw more spider crabs than shrimp. Not sure if the earlier rain may have pushed them down into the silt (all the ones I saw were on the bottom). I think I'll try around the 16th again. Hope it's not an early end to the spring run
