It is official, we have begun production of the new Ozello Shrimper! Just in time for this year's shrimping season, expect to see them on the grass flats near you.
Engineered Improvements
Made of laser-cut, lightweight, marine grade aluminum, the new Ozello Shrimper offers several benefits over its older cousin. It is lighter, doesn't rust, is specifically engineered for marine conditions and has a longer lifespan than previous models.
Our goal in producing the new Ozello Shrimper out of marine grade aluminum was to ensure that the Ozello Shrimper could withstand even more of a beating than it already takes and last longer under salt water conditions so you could have more years of shrimping enjoyment for your purchase.
We have also significantly improved on the design of the gate door, switching from a relatively fragile wire mesh hinge to a solid marine grade aluminum axle - offering a sturdier and smoother door closure with even less effort than before.
It took over two years to fully engineer, design, develop and test the new Ozello Shrimper and it shows!
Self Assembly
The best part about these new designs? It can be mailed to you instead of having to pick it up from our store like the previous model!
Each Ozello Shrimper comes completely disassembled with easy to follow instructions and online assembly videos to guide you in putting it together in a half an hour.
The entire trap is held together by zip ties providing for both stability and easy assembly. If you've ever used a zip tie, you can put the Ozello Shrimper together.
The only tools you will need to assemble the trap are the instructions and a pair of nail clippers.

The Ozello Shrimper catches shrimp lightning quick and it does it better than any other grass shrimping method.
While other shrimpers are bending over to search for shrimp in the grass, the Ozello Shrimper saves precious time by preventing the need to bend over entirely. Simply drop the trap on top of them, pull the string to close the door and voila - you have a shrimp.
