Don Kelly's Ozello Shrimper | Recreational Shrimping Equipment and Information

Well, this is it, the new site layout for Ozello Shrimper's.  The graphic will change, the content will be filled in and we will integrate some additional functionality over the next few days, weeks and months but the general feel of the website is all here.

We just finished integrating our forum sign in with this page's sign in and are presently in Beta testing.  If you encounter difficulty logging in to either the forum or this page, please let me know as soon as possible at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  I will jump right on it.

Unfortunately, in the process, I had to recover the database from a backup I made two days ago and we consequently lost two new members.  I apologize to PeachesPops and Teamshaft3 for the inconvenience.  Unfortunately, the system will make you sign up again.  I don't have access to any of the data to rebuild it.  I hope you choose to do so!

The next effort is to integrate a shopping cart into this framework.  That will take a little while because I will need to carry over a lot of information such as shipping policies, SSL certificate settings, payment processors and a mess of data from the back end.  I will keep the old shopping cart running until I am 100% sure that we are ready to go live with the new cart.  You can access the old cart by clicking the link in the upper left hand corner.

As of right now, the forum will still exist on it's own page.  I am working on integrating the forum we have all come to know and love directly into the framework in front of you.  This will make it easier to navigate around the site and you won't get lost.  A lot of the information on the forum is going to be migrated to content pages here on the new site.  The ability to report your catches and talk about the upcoming season will still exist but, I will probably start publishing the informative articles here instead of on the forum.

Please check out the site and give it a little bit of a flex.  I'd like to know if there are things that you like and things that you don't like.
