Captain Lee Noga is a Central East Region Florida Recreational Shrimper who plies Volusia and Brevard counties shrimping the Indian River. A recognized recreational shrimping expert in the region, Lee routinely advises local fishing media on the upcoming shrimp run and conditions. To put all the information in one place, she created a forum at http://www.reelchicksfish.com/ or http://www.leenoga.com to spread the word about recreational shrimping on the East Coast.
Her method is different than the Ozello Shrimper and requires specialized equipment compared to the West Coast of Florida but, it is extremely interesting nonetheless.
If you are shrimping on the East Coast, her web site is virtually mandatory and is an awesome alternative to the other sites in the region that require membership fees to join.
Regardless of whether you are shrimping on that side of the state, be sure to stop in and check out her site's postings on preparation, freezing, cleaning and a wide range of other shrimping related topics. Join the forum and share interesting ideas and learn new lessons on shrimping. |

The forums are organized geographically and you will routinely find people talking about their past or future shrimping plans. They have also been known to come out and go shrimping with us! |
