Broiled Rock Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 pounds Florida rock shrimp, split and deveined
  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Lemon Butter Sauce (see below)

Preparation

  1. Lay rock shrimp flat on a broiler pan with meat exposed.
  2. Baste with margarine
  3. Sprinkle with salt, white pepper and paprika.
  4. Broil 4 inches from source of heat for 2 minutes or until meat is opaque.
  5. Serve with Lemon Butter Sauce.

Yield

6 servings.

Lemon Butter Sauce

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Florida lemon juice

Preparation

  1. Combine butter and lemon juice
  2. Heat thoroughly

Approximately 1/2 cup
