Ingredients
- 1 pound Florida shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons water
- 3 tablespoons chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon Florida honey
- 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup sliced Florida green onions
- 4 cloves Florida garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 2 cups hot cooked rice
- chopped parsley, garnish
Preparation
- Rinse shrimp; pat dry with paper towels. Set aside.
- Combine water, chili sauce, soy sauce, cornstarch, honey, and hot pepper sauce.Mix well. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add onions, garlic, ginger and shrimp; sauté for 3 minutes.
- Stir sauce and pour over shrimp mixture.
- Cook over medium-heat, stirring constantly, 3 to 4 minutes or until shrimp are no longer translucent in the center.
- Serve over rice; sprinkle with parsley.
