Ingredients
- 1 1 1/2-ounce bag of prepared shrimp boil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, sliced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 quarts water
- 2 pounds Florida shrimp, peeled and deveined
Preparation
- Combine all ingredients, except shrimp, in a 4-quart saucepan.
- Cover and bring to a boil on high heat.
- Add shrimp, reduce heat to medium high, cover and stir occasionally 6 to 8 minutes, or until the largest shrimp is opaque throughout.
- Drain, chill and serve with favorite dipping sauce.
