Snappy Shrimp

Ingredients
- 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons sherry
- 1 tablespoon dried chives
- 1 pound Florida shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
- sourdough bread for rolls
Preparation
- In a medium skillet, sauté garlic in butter until tender.
- Add shrimp and chives and saute 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until shrimp is no longer translucent in the center
- Add salt and sherry; stir.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over shrimp mixture.
- Serve warm with bread or rolls.
Yield
3-4 entrees or 6 appetizer servings
