Snappy Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons sherry
  • 1 tablespoon dried chives
  • 1 pound Florida shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • sourdough bread for rolls

Preparation

  1. In a medium skillet, sauté garlic in butter until tender.
  2. Add shrimp and chives and saute 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until shrimp is no longer translucent in the center
  3. Add salt and sherry; stir.
  4. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over shrimp mixture.
  5. Serve warm with bread or rolls.

Yield

3-4 entrees or 6 appetizer servings
