Spicy Honey Shrimp

IngredientsSpicy Honey Shrimp

  • 1 1/2 pounds Florida shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup pineapple, diced
  • 1/2 cup water chestnuts, diced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh Florida lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Florida honey
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; toss well to coat.
  2. Chill for 2 hours.
  3. Drain and place on broiler pan.
  4. Broil for 3 to 4 minutes, turning as needed for even cooking, until shrimp are opaque and pineapple begins to brown.
