IngredientsTarragon Fried Shrimp

  • 3/4 cup tarragon vinegar
  • 2 Florida eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 pounds Florida shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • vegetable oil for deep frying

Preparation

  1. Combine vinegar and eggs; beat well.
  2. Add flour, salt and pepper and stir until well blended.
  3. Dip each shrimp into the batter.
  4. Drop shrimp in hot oil, 350 degrees F, and fry for 1/2 to 1 minute or until golden brown.
  5. Remove with slotted spoon; drain on absorbent paper.
  6. Serve immediately.
