What do you use to protect your feet when you are walking the grass flats? I personally use Deep See dive boots. They are neoprene double zipper boots with a thick rubber sole. I can step on crabs, shells, rocks, just about anything except a stingray without getting hurt. They also keep my feet relatively warm when I am walking around, just like a dive suit. They run about $75 a pair depending on where you get them and last for years. The pair I have now has lasted me over 7 years and the logo on the side hasn't even worn off.
