Looking for Shrimp

I tell people, before you invest in special equipment you may never use (even the Ozello Shrimper), take a flashlight and wade the grass flats at low tide. The grass flats are the nursing grounds for shrimp. Hold the flashlight to the side of your face and shine it down into the water. Look for a couple of shiny red eyes (the darker the red, the larger the shrimp.) You must hold the flashlight next to your eyes because the light reflecting off the shrimp's eyes will reflect back to the flashlight. A person can be standing next to you and will not see the shrimp that you can see. If you can see several shrimp within a 20 foot radius, then you can catch shrimp.

You will then come up with all kinds of ideas to catch these little delicacies (you are not the first.) We have many years of failures of one kind or another before we came up the a way to catch those little buggers ourselves. So, we can save you months, possible years of trying to catch them. Why would you want to reinvent the wheel?
