You will need a head lamp with a good spotlight :helmet: . Shrimp are not always within reach. So, you will want to look around you about 15 to 20 feet away to see where the most shrimp are and head for that area. This takes a good spotlight. People have tried flashlights or lanterns but, as I mentioned before, the light doesn't reflect properly and you will miss more than you catch.

At a minimum, you need a dip net (of which I can't help you, because I couldn't catch shrimp of any amount with a dip net) Almost anyone can catch shrimp with the Ozello Shrimper :ozello: though.

Lastly, you should have a bucket (with holes) :bucket: and a float to keep your shrimp :shrimp: alive until you get to shore or home to clean and freeze them.
