Richard Martin is the Chief Executive Officer of Ozello Shrimper, LLC. 

Born in Tampa, Florida, Richard learned to recreationally shrimp with his father and his friends near the age of 15.  It was at this time that he met Don Kelly, his future business partner and inventor of the original Ozello Shrimper. 

Richard launched Ozello Shrimper, LLC in Fall of 2010 with the objective of bringing the sport he enjoyed to more people than was possible previously.

In Spring of 2011, Richard commissioned a redesign of the Ozello Shrimper and prototyped it in a limited batch.  It was a success!

Today, Richard's objective is to manufacture the Ozello Shrimper and sell it through our online store.

Richard lives in Paris, France with his wife and works as an international consultant to the UN.
