5-28Monday, May 28th Shrimping will start around ten tonight as the tide finds its way below mean water level to a bottom a half a foot above sea level near two in the morning. Only late night shrimpers with a passion for the bugs will find their way out this evening.
5-29Tuesday, May 29th Weak tidal changes between high and low mark this evening's late night of shrimping. Don't get out until around eleven thirty and expect only blasé conditions until five in the morning.

5-30Wednesday, May 30th Tonight's tides hover around mean water level for the entire evening and don't present much of a opportunity for anyone to catch anything. Pack it in and stay home.

5-31Thursday, May 31st Incoming tide that generally stays that way all night. Enough said?

6-01Friday, June 1st A very small window for shrimping exists tonight between sunset and about ten thirty. This is the first of the next few good tides over the coming days. If you get out before sunset, you will find below sea level conditions enable you to get out on the flats and allow the incoming tide to follow you as you work your way back to shore. Not the longest night on the books but a definite opportunity.
6-02Saturday, June 2nd The window for shrimping is widening again as below sea level conditions at sunset will enable you to once again get out on the flats early and walk the incoming tide back to shore. Expect to get back in around eleven once again as the incoming tide will crest above mean water level near that time.
6-03Sunday, June 3rd Particularly low below sea level conditions will exist at sunset and will slowly work their way back to mean water level by one in the morning. An overall excellent opportunity to shrimp the first half of the evening in what is historically a great time to be shrimping.

6-04Monday, June 4th The tips of the grass should be poking above the water line when you get out to the beach and the tide will just keep getting lower until about nine. Expect impressive shrimping conditions until about two in the morning. Low tides don't get much lower than this and the coming day's tide cycle's.
6-05Tuesday, June 5th The tide will be dropping when the sun sets on the West Coast and will continue to nearly a half foot below sea level around nine thirty. Expect perfect shrimping conditions (assuming the weather cooperates) until about two in the morning.
6-06Wednesday, June 6th Another great evening for shrimping with great below sea level tides beginning near nine and lasting a good two hours. Shrimping should be possible until about two thirty in the morning. An overall excellent tidal configuration.

6-07Thursday, June 7th Tides will be dropping off their average water levels toward a below sea level mark right around sunset. Expect a full night of shrimping until around three in the morning.

6-08Friday, June 8th This will be one of the last nights of this tide cycle where a relatively early evening is possible. Around sunset, the tide will be coming off mean water level on its way down to just touching sea level at around midnight. It's fifty-fifty tonight folks: half the evening can be had on either side of midnight.
6-09Saturday, June 9th The beginning of late shrimping possibilities starts tonight. Get out to the beach around nine and catch the relatively minor low tide until around four.

6-10Sunday, June 10th Tonight presents mediocre shrimping possibilities late in the night starting around nine thirty and ending around four. Most people will stay home but if the shrimp are running hard, it just might be worth it to make your way out to the beach

6-11Monday, June 11th Eleven is the earliest we recommend you begin your shrimping adventures, if at all. The tide will be hovering around mean water and won't go much further than a half a foot above sea level. You make the call.
6-12Tuesday, June 12th Tonight presents no glaring benefits to us after thorough inspection. Tides will deviate no more than a quarter foot in either direction of mean water level and won't present much of an opportunity for shrimping. Consider waiting for the next tide set.
6-13Wednesday, June 13th Don't bother. Tonight sucks. We don't recommend you go. Can't say it much clearer than that.

6-14Thursday, June 14th Another miserable night for shrimping. Tides will be at high tide for nearly all the evening. Best to stay home.

6-15Friday, June 15th The beginning of something good just not quite there yet. Tonight will give you two maybe three hours to snag some bugs. Water will be on the way in from sea level at sunset and will hit high tide above mean water level around ten thirty. You be the judge.

6-16Saturday, June 16th A four hour window has opened up to enable you to score a few shrimp for dinner. Get out on the water early, before sunset and get setup then prepare for a brisk walk back to shore. Conditions will be just below sea level at sunset and will be working their way back in by midnight. Not a full evening but certainly nothing to shake a stick at.
6-17Sunday, June 17th My birthday. OK, enough of that. Tonight gives you the opportunity to get out on the water early, get setup and walk the tide back in until about midnight. Expect below sea level conditions, just a little bit, right around sunset and the tide to return to no-man's land by midnight.

6-18Monday, June 18th Tonight begins the "good" stretch of tides for shrimping, assuming those bad boys and girls are still in the area. Get out at sunset and catch the still-outgoing tide until it bottoms out around eight fifteen below sea level. Then, ride the incoming tide back in (slowly of course) until it returns to normal mean water levels around twelve thirty.
6-19Tuesday, June 19th Sunset brings us a below sea level tide with a little more to go. Then it climbs back to mean water level around one in the morning. Translation: good shrimping to be had until one.

6-20Wednesday, June 20th The tide will be low at sunset and will drop below sea level by nine thirty. Expect to be able to shrimp until about one thirty in the morning. Overall, a good night.

6-21Thursday, June 21st Another good night to catch shrimp, if they are still here in good number. Low tide will still be going out at sunset and will continue it's way out to below sea levels nearing ten. Expect shrimping to be possible until one thirty or so.

6-22Friday, June 22nd An average night of shrimping could be said about this evening. Below mean water level starting at sunset and lasting until about two thirty. A brief interlude into scrumptious shrimp catching, below sea level territory around ten thirty and that's about it. Not a bad night folks.

6-23Saturday, June 23rd Expect an average evening of shrimping below mean water level but not below sea level between the hours of sunset and two. Not perfect conditions but far from bad.

6-24Sunday, June 24th Another average night of below mean water level conditions between eight and three. Expect the nights to get later from tonight on.

6-25Monday, June 25th Late evenings begin now. Start around nine and expect to shrimp until three. Just don't expect any spectacular conditions - the tide will remain at least a half foot above sea level all night.
6-26Tuesday, June 26th Ten is the earliest you should go out, if at all. Tides won't be that favorable for the rest of the evening. Still, if you are itching to test the waters, give it a shot on tonight's late evening until around three.

6-27Wednesday, June 27th It just isn't worth it tonight. Chances are the shrimp are gone already and the tides just aren't cooperating. Sunset shows high tidal conditions and the low is a mere half foot below mean water level. Call it a night.

6-28Thursday, June 28th Tonight just isn't good. Stay home and prepare for the fourth of July party by cleaning some of the shrimp you have no doubt already caught.

6-29Friday, June 29th You might get lucky and catch an hour or two of shrimping if you get out early enough but don't expect fabulous conditions. Arrive before sunset to sea level conditions and expect to be off the water by nine.

6-30Saturday, June 30th Another small window. If you know the shrimp are still there, get out and get them. How will you know? By checking our forum. If they are still here, expect a three hour window starting at sunset.

7-01Sunday, July 1st A good end to the season. Sure, shrimp are probably still there but they are going to generally be small and few in between than the past few months / weeks. Tonight will have a below sea level tide easing into a high tide around midnight. Hope you had fun this season and happy shrimping!
